Our mission is to help people with mobility issues to come closer to the world regardless of the type of terrain.
Over the past few years we have developed an off road wheelchair called NOMAD that allows wheelchair users to navigate terrain that they may not have been able to access before, whether it be sand, snow or mud.
Our off road wheelchair comes in 2 variations, both allow the user to ride in the comfort of their own wheelchair. The NOMAD Tundra is attached to the user's wheelchair, whereas the NOMAD Desert comes with a ramp, allowing the user to be pushed on to it without the need of a transfer.
This unit allows a user to remain in their own wheelchair, to which the NOMAD Tundra is attached and from there you're good to go and explore!
Our unique approach allows a user to remain in their own wheelchair which is then pushed onto the NOMAD Desert without the need to transfer from, or adapt, their own wheelchair.
Founder and Designer Philip Pugh started Adventure Mobility in 2015, this was to help his son who is wheelchair bound see more of the world.
This evolved into the NOMAD, an all terrain wheel chair that allows users to visit places that may have been previously inaccessible.
